What is the CLAW High Council all about? 

 
 
 
 

The CLAW is a group of Legends of Kesmai (LOK) players who have gotten together because they have the same playing ethics and get the most enjoyment from the game when playing with other people who share those ethics. CLAW stands for Council of Law & War. The name was chosen from dozens of ideas and it represents and identifies its membership to have a high playing ethic and to be mighty in game play. The membership helps new players getting to know the game and aids new and old players as necessary. 
There are nine founding members of CLAW and they make up CLAW's High Council (HC). All CLAW members are governed by the High Council. 
For those of you who are new to the Legends of Kesmai multiplier game and want to find out more about it or want to try it out, you can find links to all the necessary information and software on CLAWs Links page. There are also map downloads on the page and other valuable information, links and downloads. If you go to the page and do not find what you are looking for email us and we will get back to you. At times, the page is under modification and the Links or files are not available. Below are the simple rules established by the High Council of CLAW. These rules help govern CLAW in a fair and impartial way. 

THE CLAW HIGH COUNCIL RULES 

1) Only the High Council will display the word CLAW in all capitals behind their characters names. Other (trial) membership will identify their membership with only the first letter of CLAW in capitals behind their characters names (example Member...Claw). 
2) The High Council will decide on all CLAW matters. 
3) The High Council is self governing and as such has no one leader. 
4) To take care of day-to-day matters the High Council will elect a High Council Coordinator (HCC). The HCC will be a current member of the CLAW HC.

5) To decide on matters, other than new membership, a meeting of three or more of the nine High Council Members must be present. 
6) If a player wants to join CLAW they must complete the Membership Request Form. To access this form click on * JOIN CLAW * below or the CLAW web page link "Membership Request". The HCC will forward the request to the Recruiting Officer (RO) for review and approval. Once accepted into CLAW the trial member has 30 days to prove his request to join the Council of CLAW. Once the 30 days are up he/she must come before the HC and they will vote for Council membership. If the Council agrees then after 6 months the person will come before the Council again to be voted into the HC. To ensure the HC is never divided on membership it will take 100% approval by all HC members for a player to join. For a player to be eligible to join CLAW he or she must have at least one level fifteen character or have had one in the recent past. One is not required if new characters are being developed due to an account change or LOK program bug.

7) The High Councils Coordinator (HCC) will coordinate the distribution of all Council news, postings, and taking care of the CLAW web page.  The HCC has no more authority than any other High Council Member.
